Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Lohabook handles information when you browse the site or submit a contact request. Lohabook is currently a public reference site and does not require an account to read catalogue content.
Information we may process
We may process information you choose to provide through the contact form, such as your name, email address, subject and message. Infrastructure and security providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as request metadata, timestamps, browser/device information and security signals.
How information is used
- Operate, secure and maintain Lohabook.
- Respond to support and correction requests.
- Prevent spam, abuse and automated misuse.
- Maintain catalogue quality and investigate corrections.
Contact forms and security
Contact submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile or equivalent anti-abuse controls where configured. Messages submitted through the contact form are delivered to our support mailbox and may be retained as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain an appropriate support history, prevent abuse or satisfy legal obligations.
Cookies, analytics and optional tracking
Lohabook does not currently load Google Analytics or other optional analytics, advertising, affiliate or personalization trackers on the public site. Optional tracking must not be enabled until the site has an appropriate consent/opt-out experience, a documented storage inventory, an accessible way to change privacy choices, and automated tests that verify optional scripts do not run before they are permitted.
The light/dark theme control follows your device color preference when a page loads. If you switch the theme, the change applies only to the current page and is not stored in localStorage, sessionStorage or a cookie for future visits.
Essential security or delivery mechanisms may operate when genuinely necessary to provide or protect the requested service. They must not be repurposed for advertising or behavioral profiling.
Third-party services
We use service providers that help host, deliver, secure and support Lohabook. Cloudflare provides core delivery and security infrastructure. Other providers may process information only when required for the specific service they provide. We do not describe an optional analytics vendor here unless that vendor is actually enabled on the site.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal or security obligations, dispute resolution and service integrity.
Your choices
You can browse the public catalogue without submitting the contact form. You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with a support submission, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern.
Children
Lohabook is a general information service and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Lohabook adds features or privacy controls. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
